Chinese Painting Workshops on Sunday 31st May and 7th June at Guanghwa bookshop

Hello Everyone,
 
Due to the popularity of our art workshops, we are pleased to let you know that Guanghwa Bookshop has organised two days Chinese painting workshops which are on Sunday 31st May and Sunday 7th June.
 
There will be four sessions altogether: the cost for each session is £25. If you join all four sessions will be £95.
 
The Venue is at the bookshop, and we will provide the materials for the workshops.
 
• Session One: Morning Painting Workshop on Sunday 31st May from 11:30 to 14:00
Topic: How to paint using the famous Chinese artist Zhang Daqian's style of painting landscape  ( session one ) 名家張大千山水 (一). This session is suitable for Beginner Plus Level.
 
• Session Two: Afternoon Painting Workshop on Sunday 31st May from 14:45 to 17:15
Topics: How to paint Egret and Lotus Flowers 白鹭和荷花. This session is suitable for Beginner and above Level
 
• Session Three: Morning Painting Workshop on Sunday 7th June from 11:30 to 14:00
Topic: How to paint using the famous Chinese artist Zhang Daqian's style of painting landscape  ( session Two ) 名家張大千山水 (二). This session is suitable for Beginner Plus Level.
 
• Session Four: Afternoon Painting Workshop on Sunday 7th June from 14:45 to 17:15
Topics:  How to paint Persimmon Tree and Small Birds 柿子树和小鸟. This session is suitable for Beginner and above Level.
 
Painting Tutor: Mr Jian Chu Xu
 
Mr. Xu started to learn Chinese calligraphy in 1980 under the supervision of late calligrapher Mr. Laoyun Yu who was a famous Chinese calligrapher. Mr. Xu is the chairman of the Chinese Poetry Calligraphy & Painting Society of UK, Honorary Principal of Shifu Art College of China. He received an excellence award in the Chinese calligraphy competition in 2014.
 
To be able to run these workshops, we will need sufficient students registering for them. Do let us know if you are interested attending any of these workshops. We think you will enjoy it.
