Next Weekend On-Site Painting Courses will start on 22nd March

Hope you are all keeping well.
Due to the popularity of our painting courses, we are pleased to let you know that Guanghwa Bookshop has organised two more weekend on-site painting courses which will start on Sunday 22nd March.
Both courses will run every Sunday for six weeks, the venue is at the bookshop, and we will provide the materials.
• The Morning Painting Course
• Beginner and Above Level
• Time: 11:30 to 13:30
• Topics: How to paint Lotus flowers (荷花), Chrysanthemums (菊花), Magnolias (玉兰) and Insects.
• The Afternoon Painting Course
• Beginner and Above Level
• Time: 14:30 to 16:30
• Topic: How to paint Falcons (隼), Pandas (熊貓), Wolves (狼)
• Dates: 22 Mar, 29 Mar, 5 Apr, 12 Apr, 19 Apr, 26 Apr
These are TWO DIFFERENT courses. One runs in the morning. One runs in the afternoon. You may enrol in either course independently, and each six-week course is charged separately.
• Course Fee Options:
Full six-week course: £96
Flexible option: £18 per session
Please note: the flexible option is for those who cannot commit to all six sessions. You will still need to book the dates and pay in advance to secure your place for the sessions you wish to attend. Drop-ins on the day are not available.
• Painting Tutor: Mr Jian Chu Xu
Mr. Xu started to learn Chinese calligraphy in 1980 under supervision of late calligrapher Mr. Laoyun Yu who was a famous Chinese calligrapher. Mr. Xu is the chairman of the Chinese Poetry Calligraphy & Painting Society of UK, Honorary Principal of Shifu Artqq1 College of China. He received an excellence award in the Chinese calligraphy competition UK in 2011 and a special award in the international Chinese competition in 2014.
To be able to run these two painting courses, we will need sufficient students registering for them. Do let us know if you are interested in attending either of these courses. We think you will enjoy it.
