Seal Carving Workshops at Guanghwa Bookshop – 14 & 21 September

Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to let you know that Guanghwa Bookshop has organised two Seal Carving Workshops. You can choose to attend either the workshop on 14th September or the one on 21st September, but please note that both Part One and Part Two must be attended on the same day to complete the workshop.

• Sunday 14th September – Seal Carving Workshop
• Time: 11:30 – 13:00 (Part One)
      13:45 – 15:15 (Part Two)

• Sunday 21st September – Seal Carving Workshop
• Time: 11:30 – 13:00 (Part One)
      13:45 – 15:15 (Part Two)

Each workshop covers:
• The history of seal carving, different styles, and the tools used
• Preparation techniques and hands-on guidance on how to carve the stone using traditional tools

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who have experience with Chinese painting and calligraphy.

• Fee: £30 for the full 3-hour workshop
• Materials: Provided
If you would like to keep your seal stone at the end of the session, you can do so for an additional £8.
