The next Friday on-site Painting Course will start on 5th September - How to paint Morning Glory Flowers, Hibiscus Mutabilus Flowers, Common Crape Myrtle Flowers, Small Birds and Insects

Hello Everyone,

Due to the popularity of our painting courses, we are pleased to let you know that Guanghwa Bookshop has organised a further weekday on-site painting course which will start on Friday 5th September from 11:30 am to 13:30 pm - How to paint Morning Glory Flowers, Hibiscus Mutabilus Flowers, Common Crape Myrtle Flowers, Small Birds and insects.

This course will run every Friday for six weeks, with each lesson being two hours. The venue is at the bookshop, and we will provide the materials.

The cost for a six-week course is £96
We also do a 'pay as you go' option at £18 each lesson.

• Topics: How to paint Morning Glory Flowers (牵牛花),  Hibiscus Mutabilus Flowers (芙蓉花),  Common Crape Myrtle Flowers (紫薇花), Small Birds and Insects (小鸟和昆虫).

This course is suitable for Beginner and above Level. 
• Time: 11:30 am to 13:30 pm

• Painting Tutor: Mr Jian Chu Xu
Mr. Xu started to learn Chinese calligraphy in 1980 under supervision of late calligrapher Mr. Laoyun Yu who was a famous Chinese calligrapher. Mr. Xu is the chairman of the Chinese Poetry Calligraphy & Painting Society of UK, Honorary Principal of Shifu Art College of China. He received an excellence award in the Chinese calligraphy competition UK in 2011 and a special award in the international Chinese competition in 2014.
